Google User Data and Gmail Integration

EasyHire AI allows users to optionally connect their Google account to enable Gmail-related recruiting communication features.

Google Data We Access

When a user connects Gmail, EasyHire AI may access Google user data authorized by the user through OAuth, including:

  • Gmail message content
  • Email sender and recipient information
  • Email subject lines
  • Email timestamps
  • Email conversation threads and message history
  • Sent and received email messages

EasyHire AI only accesses Google user data that is necessary to provide the features requested by the user.

How We Use Gmail Data

EasyHire AI uses Gmail data solely to provide recruitment-related email functionality within the EasyHire AI platform.

Gmail read-only access is used to allow users to:

  • View recruitment-related email messages inside EasyHire AI
  • Review candidate replies
  • View previous candidate communication history
  • View email conversation threads
  • Understand the context of ongoing recruiting conversations

Gmail send access is used to allow users to:

  • Send recruitment-related emails from their connected Gmail account
  • Send candidate outreach messages
  • Send interview-related communications
  • Reply to recruitment-related email conversations

EasyHire AI does not use Gmail read-only access to modify, delete, archive, label, or otherwise change users' Gmail messages.

User Authorization

EasyHire AI only accesses Gmail data after the user explicitly connects their Google account and grants the requested permissions through Google's OAuth authorization process.

Users may revoke EasyHire AI's access to their Google account at any time through their Google Account permissions settings.

Storage and Retention of Google User Data

EasyHire AI only stores Google user data when necessary to provide the requested user-facing features.

Google user data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide those features or as required by applicable law. When the data is no longer required, or when the user requests deletion where applicable, the data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention and deletion procedures.

Sharing of Google User Data

EasyHire AI does not sell Google user data.

EasyHire AI does not share Google user data with advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties for advertising, marketing, credit assessment, or unrelated purposes.

Google user data may only be shared with service providers when necessary to operate or provide the user-requested EasyHire AI functionality, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations, or when required by law.

Artificial Intelligence and Model Training

EasyHire AI does not use Google Workspace user data obtained through Gmail API scopes to train or improve general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Google user data is only processed as necessary to provide the specific user-facing functionality requested by the user.

Human Access

EasyHire AI personnel do not access or read users' Gmail content except where the user has provided explicit consent, where access is necessary for security or troubleshooting purposes, or where required by applicable law.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

EasyHire AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Account Disconnection and Data Deletion

Users may disconnect their Google account from EasyHire AI at any time. Users may also revoke EasyHire AI's Google permissions through their Google Account settings.
